Cleaning Service Policies

At Mama K’s Cleaning Company & More, our goal is to provide dependable, detailed, and caring cleaning services while creating a safe and respectful experience for our clients and our team. Please review the following policies before your scheduled appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice will not be charged the late cancellation fee.

Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may require a deposit before future appointments are scheduled.

The cancellation fee helps compensate our cleaning team for reserved time that may not be possible to fill on short notice.

Personal Belongings & Safety

For the safety and protection of our clients, their belongings, and our employees, we ask that all personal, valuable, fragile, hazardous, or potentially dangerous items be properly secured or put away before the cleaning team arrives.

This may include:

Jewelry and cash

Important documents

Medications

Firearms or weapons

Fragile or irreplaceable items

Valuable electronics

Personal or confidential belongings

Any hazardous materials or substances

Our employees are not responsible for moving, handling, or securing valuable, dangerous, or highly fragile personal belongings.

To help us provide the best cleaning service possible, please have personal items and excessive clutter put away before your appointment whenever possible.

Pricing & Service Changes

All cleaning services are based on the information provided when the appointment is scheduled. Final pricing may be determined or adjusted on the day of cleaning based on the actual condition, size, level of buildup, and requested scope of work.

If we discover that additional work is needed beyond the originally requested service:

We will discuss the additional service and any additional charge with the client BEFORE the extra work is performed.

There will be no surprise charges for additional services that were not discussed and approved.

Additional services may include, but are not limited to:

Deep cleaning

Organization

Laundry

Dishes

Inside oven

Inside refrigerator

Inside cabinets or drawers

Interior windows

Heavy buildup

Excessive clutter

Additional rooms or areas

Other requested add-on services

Time-Based Services

For services purchased by the hour, including our $100 / 2-hour cleaning special, the service is limited to the scheduled amount of time.

Our team will prioritize the areas that are most important to the client. The amount completed will depend on the size, condition, and needs of the home.

Home Condition

For homes requiring significantly more time or specialized cleaning due to excessive buildup, clutter, unsanitary conditions, or other circumstances, Mama K’s Cleaning Company & More reserves the right to adjust the service scope and pricing.

Any additional charges will be discussed with and approved by the client before additional services are performed.
